Welcome to White River Labradors

About Us
*Starting April 1st 2025*
Due to a surge in serious canine diseases since the Covid puppy boom in 2020 I will not be allowing anymore visits or any handling of the puppies. It is my job to keep my babies healthy and safe. If these safety protocols do not sound like something you are looking for my program may not be the right fit. Families will choose their puppy via daily Facebook videos, weekly photo updates, Facetime, text updates and advice from myself. I work hard to keep everyone in the loop every step of the way. I am extremely hands on and very involved with my puppies. Below are photos of my property and puppy set-up. I'd be happy to send videos via text of my dog's living space and or a Facetime meet and greet of the crew.
Here at White River Labradors I strive to raise healthy, genetically sound, well rounded Labradors. I am a small program with only 3-4 litters per year. All of my dogs are OFA certified on hips along with DNA testing for common Labrador genetic disorders. Temperament is especially important to me. My goal is to raise mellow yet energetic, smart, level-headed, family oriented, dogs. Puppies that come from White River Labradors have abilities to thrive in many duties such as, therapy work, hunting, obedience, home protection, and of course loving loyal family pets. We live on a small hobby farm on 2 acres in the beautiful mountain range in Mossyrock Washington State. We are within walking distance from Riffe lake where we spend much of our time. I enjoy many outdoor activities with the dogs such as shed antler hunting, truffle mushroom hunting, swimming and hiking.
I don't believe in raising my dogs in kennels, they are inside with me as part of the family. All the puppies are born indoors and next to my bed for 2 weeks where I can keep an eye on them pretty much 24/7. Once they start walking they are moved into the puppy room where they start potty training on artificial grass. I prefer raising puppies inside because they can adjust to normal living sights, sounds and smells such as the vacuum cleaner. I slowly introduce mental and physical toys/activities such as a mini slide, wobble board, bike ramp and various types of toys that are all different in sound and texture.
I introduce the crate at 6 weeks of age, they learn at a very young when it's time for bed. By being inside they learn normal sleeping routines that helps them transition better in their new homes.
